Nevada State Employees
If you are a state employee, the state must follow a very particular process before it takes any adverse employment action against you - from demotion to termination. The law provides that you may be represented by counsel throughout the process.
The rules governing the process may vary depending on what department or governmental agency you work for. Typically, the state is subject to the Nevada Revised Statutes, Chapters 233B and 284, and the Nevada Administrative Code, Chapters 233B and 284.
For more information about the process particular to your situation, contact Harvey Law Firm to schedule a consultation.
